Dalam rangka mendukung program Pemerintah mengenai penggunakan kandungan lokal dalam negeri, TorishimaGuna kembali meluncurkan pompa produksi dalam negeri, dimana peruntukkan pompa tersebut untuk pembangkit listrik. Peluncuran Pompa Generasi Terbaru Dalam Negeri Berbasis Teknologi Tinggi Untuk Pembangkit Listrik diresmikan oleh Direktur Jenderal Kementrian Perindustrian, pada tanggal 1 Februari 2012, bertempat di Workshop TorishimaGuna – Pulogadung. Beliau berharap akan ada lebih banyak lagi jenis-jenis pompa dengan nilai kandungan lokal yang tinggi untuk mendukung program Pemerintah sehingga kebutuhan import produk industri dapat ditekan. Dukungan mengenai penggunaan kandungan lokal dalam negeri ini dapat diperoleh melalui produk itu sendiri dan dituangkan juga melalui peraturan-peraturan atau kebijakkan penentuan spesifikasi teknis misalnya dalam tender.

One of our parents company, PT Guna Elektro, just celebrate their 50th years of establishment in Indonesia. Founded in 1962 in Indonesia , Guna Elektro has grown into one of the Indonesia trsuted engineering firms. The celebration began with some contest for all employee of Guna Elektro in January 2012, and all the winners has been announced in a very big party as the TOP EVENT for all employee, which held ini Balai Kartini, 30 January 2012. On that event Guna Elektro invited group band UNGU to pleased all the employee. The celebration still continued on February 2nd 2012 by visiting office and workshop of Guna Elektro Group, started with Torishima Guna Group in Pulogadung as first pit stop and continued to Guna Era Manufacture in Cikarang. On this event, Guna Elektro brought all members of their representative office and Guna Elektro customer & colleagues. And series of 50th year events closed in the evening with GALA DINNER at Mulia Hotel by inviting all their valuable customers & colleagues. Happy 50th Birthday Guna Elektro!

In the effort to fulfill national requirements on turbomachinery parts repair, Torishima Guna Engineering has started building a turbomachinery workshop at MM2100 Cibitung Industrial Town, covering 1,5 Ha of land and will be completed by October 2012 with highly skilled and experienced human resources to support the workshop. On the 1st February 2012 a Groundbreaking Ceremony was held, attended by the shareholders of Torishima Guna Group and several representatives from Torishima Pump Mfg.Co.Ltd.
